Ferme Marine de Mahebourg operates a state of the art processing At 50 meters from the coast you find the building where processing and construction take place. Here, we unload the product collected from our boats.
The installation has an area of 1200 square meters and works following the highest international standards, in fact it is approved by the European Union (approval number: DVS / FP9 / MU). The implant is divided into three processing sections: reception, evisceration and filleting, in a way that ensures the maintenance of the highest standards of hygiene.
The collection area is dedicated to the processing of fish, their selection and registration in the monitoring system. Secondly, in the evisceration department, the fish are inspected, eviscerated and cleaned. Finally, the filleting department deals with portions and fillets.
The plant is dedicated to the production of both fresh and frozen products and can offer fillets with and without skin. We process the products according to the customer's needs and we follow a protocol to guarantee the customer the safety and quality of the product. Each package is coded with the processing date, giving the system full traceability of the fish starting from hatchery to packaging.
